Booking for
semi-private lessons

Riders need to qualify for semi-private lessons. To qualify, the rider must first attend a trial private lesson with Taman Kuda. In this session our coach will determine if the rider can progress to semi-private lessons.

For this reason, lessons can be purchased but not booked on our website. Once you purchased your lesson/s, please contact us here to book. This ensures we have paired you appropriately. Bookings made will still appear in your account and on our mobile app.

SEMI-PRIVATE

  • What is the riding lesson time schedule?
Our operating hours are Tuesday to Sunday with times varying based on daylight savings. During Spring and Summer, our hours are 8am till 6pm. This shortens slightly as we near mid Autumn and throughout Winter.
  • How late can I book a riding lesson?
We accept bookings a minimum of 2-days before the nominated lesson. This gives us time to ensure we have the resources and coach available.
  • I don't own my own horse but want to ride. What should I do?
No problem at all! When you purchase a lesson, be sure to book using the option that doesn't list "own horse" and we will take it from there.
  • How far in advance can I cancel my lesson?
You can cancel your booked session, consequence free, up to 24-hours in advance. If you cancel within 24-hours, you will forfeit the payment for that single session. If you have a 5 or 10-session pack, this will be deducted from your pack if cancelling within the 24-hours. If you cancel ahead of the 24-hour window, your session will be credited back to you.
  • What happens if it's forecast for bad weather?
If we see the weather is unfit for riding we will cancel the session and you will be notified. If Taman Kuda Club is the one who cancels a lesson, the lesson will be credited for rebooking.
  • How far in advance can I book lessons?
You can book riding lessons up to 3-months ahead.
  • Can I supply my own feed for the agistment?
Of course. As a standard, we supply the feed (included in the agisment price). Additional supplements or specialised feed can also be given but it is to be provided at the owners cost. Please note that there is no discount in price for providing your own feed.
  • How many paddocks do you have?
Taman Kuda has 6 private paddocks and 2 herd paddocks. The number of horses in the herd paddocks varies as it is based on horse temperament and weight.
  • What is the minimum agistment period?
At Taman Kuda Club, we require a minimum agistment period of two weeks. This policy ensures that your horse has enough time to adjust comfortably to its new surroundings, allowing us to provide the best care and attention during their stay. A two-week period also enables us to closely monitor your horse’s health, establish consistent feeding and care routines, and give your horse the opportunity to settle in and form connections with other horses in the paddock (if a social horse).
  • How far in advance can I cancel?
You can cancel an agistment booking, consequence free, 2-weeks prior to your booking date. If you cancel within the 2-week period, there is no refund.
  • How late can I book an agistment?
To ensure we have adequate space and resources, we require 2-weeks notice before the agistment.
